DALLAS — A North Dakota construction simulator 3 has landed a $3 million contract with Texas-based Dpr Construction Systems.
The Texas company announced the deal Tuesday after completing its first construction simulator with Texas Advanced Technologies.
Dpr said it will be based in Fort Worth, Texas, and has received a $1.6-million award from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
The company is working on a second simulator in the state, but Dpr said that would require a $2.9-million investment.
The new contract includes a $300,000 incentive for Dpr to meet certain performance milestones, including annual maintenance of its simulator equipment.
